Name: Fiona Meade Location: Aberdeen, Scotland Biography Born in Ireland, I moved to Scotland in 2008 to take up a teaching position in the University of Glasgow, where I coordinated the 1st year Earth Science course (2008-2012). In 2012-13 I worked as a researcher at Uppsala University in Sweden. I founded Meade Scientific Services in November 2013 with the aim of using all the skills I've acquired during my career as a teacher, researcher and scientist, in a flexible freelance capacity. In 2015 I was awarded a contract by Mourne Cooley Gullion Geotourism to write a field guide to the geology of the volcanic complexes of NE Ireland.
